Pigeons started nesting on my balcony so I started a Tumblr on my computer.
A long time ago, I started a Tumblr. Then I forgot about it.
Then pigeons landed on my balcony and laid eggs, so I started another Tumblr. That was this one. The point was to share pictures of the pigeon eggs as they hatched. It was pretty cool. They hatched, grew up on my balcony, and flew away. I documented it all on here.
After the birds flew away, this Tumblr started to mutate into another beast and was starting to become a regular part of Pigeons and Planes. Then I remembered my first Tumblr. The Pigeon Nest Tumblr was really just meant to capture the story of those pigeons on my balcony, so for now, it’s dead. If, at any point in the future, I have another experience with a pigeon nest, this Tumblr will continue.
But for now, back to the first Tumblr:

This video is beautiful. Not like, “pretty people doing cool, edgy things” beautiful, which seems to be a big part of Tumblr. A different kind of beautiful. The song is amazing too. Check out the unofficial video for Youth Lagoon’s “17.”
